James Larry George, 83, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. He was born on November 5, 1941, he son of the late James Ernest and Margaret George.

He is survived by his son, Barry Keith George of Weaver, Alabama; sisters, Kathryn George of Alabama and Linda Cooper of Ohio.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens Chapel, 1100 Hickory Level Rd, Villa Rica, Ga 30180, with a funeral service at 2:00 PM with Dr. Smith and Bishop George officiating.
