James Gregory Garner

Mr. James Gregory Garner, 48, of S. Van Wert Road, Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Emory University Hospital following a brief illness. He was born October 18, 1957 in Carroll County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. James C. Garner and the late Mrs. Vivian Long Garner. He was a Christian by Faith and worked in construction. He loved animals. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alice Long and his brother, John Garner. He is survived by his aunts and uncles, Phyllis and Harold Pope of Temple, Carolyn L. McClung, Jerrill Garner; cousins, Guy Pope, Brian Pope, Gloria Searcy, Gary McClung and several other cousins also survive Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, July 23, 2006 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Elder Lloyd Blair officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Saturday, July 22, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
