James Groves, Sr.

Mr. James Edward Groves, Sr., 71, of Conyers, Georgia passed away November 29, 2016. He was born June 22, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA the son of the late Mrs. Lainys Parsons Foster and Mr. James Wilburn Groves. He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as an Automation Technician at Emcor Air Conditioning until he retired. He is survived by his three children, James E. Groves, Jr. of Douglasville, Jennifer Hyndman and her husband, Matt of Auburn, Maine, and Jason Groves of Douglasville; his father, James Wilbur Groves of California; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Diane and Roy Rapier of Vancouver, WA and Carole Baroyan of Canoga Park, CA; five grandchildren, Dru Weld, Lindy Hyndman, Hayden Groves, Dru Hyndman, Kala Jones; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Monday, December 5, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Memorial Service will be conducted Monday, December 5, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville.
