James Hancock

James Michael Hancock, Jr. age 42 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, June 3, 2019. He was born November 16, 1976 the son of Mr. James Hancock, Sr. and Shirley Pritchett. Michael was a graduate of Douglas County High School Class of 1995. He enjoyed fishing, grilling and baking. He was very caring with a big heart, loved his friends and family dearly. He was one of the best painters around, best in the industry. He is preceded in death by grandpa and grandma Pritchett; uncles, Michael and Jimmy. He is survived by sisters, Kanisha Lucille DiCicco of New York, Shannon Hancock of Griffin, Melissa Hancock of Newnan; brother, William Bradley Hancock of Douglasville, Georgia; cousin, Brandon Pritchett of Clinton, Tennessee; friends, Dwayne Sisson, Thomas Hodge, and Anthony Delaney; and numerous other friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 3:30 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 3:30 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Pastor Davena Lynn McKey officiating. Interment will be held at Michigan Memorial Cemetery in Flatrock, Michigan. In lieu of flowers the family has ask for donations be made for help with funeral expenses.
