James Hurst

Mr. James Henry Hurst, age 58, of Bremen, passed away, Thursday, October 19, 2017. He was born August 1, 1959 in Atlanta the son of the late Mr. John Henry Hurst and the late Mrs. Sviller Allene Bowen. He enjoyed reading and loved the Lord and his family. Mr. Hurst was a family man. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Norris. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jean Parsons Hurst of Bremen; daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Andrew Kilgore of Bremen; sons and daughter-in-law, James Hurst, Jr. of Bremen, Jacob and Nykolle Hurst of Temple, Joseph Hurst of Bremen; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Bill Hawthorne of St. George, GA; nine grandchildren, Savannah, Tristian, Ashley, Hayden, Logan, Payton, Paisley, Ian and Cohen; three nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Monday, October 23, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Huddleston officiating.
