Jim WardMr. James “Jim” Timothy Ward, age 92, of Lithia Springs, passed away, Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was born May 29, 1926 in Canada. Mr. Ward retired from Lockhead Martin as an Aircraft Mechanic after many years of service.He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Ward.He is survived by his wife, Ruby June Slaton Ward of Lithia Springs; grandchildren, Adam Griswell of Lehigh Acres, FL, Kyle Griswell of Hiram; nieces, Lisa Brantley of Douglasville, Deborah Newell of Gadsden, AL; Lawanna Crile of Cedartown; numerous great nieces and great nephews also survive.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Mr. Ward will be cremated following the services.
