James Jones

Mr. James Roger Jones, age 68, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015. He was born February 14, 1947 in Keyser, West Virginia, the son of the late Mr. Warren Jones and the late Mrs. Mary Cottrell Jones. He married Pamela Hinkle on March 22, 1975 in Maryland. He was a sports enthusiast who especially enjoyed NASCAR, wrestling, hunting and watching old westerns. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pamela Hinkle Jones of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Thomas Morris of Rockmart; sister, Agnes Bond of Merritt Island, FL; aunt and uncle, Deanna Sue and Johnny Montgomery; two grandchildren, Anthony Burbano and Kyle Burbano; four great-grandchildren, Nicholas Burbano, KJ Burbano, Izabel Burbano, and Aurora Burbano; mother-in-law, Mary Hinkle of Douglasville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Susann Norton of California, Mary Ann and Leonard Koberg of Maryland, Albert Hinkle of Maryland; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. According to his wishes, his body was cremated.
