James Jordan

Mr. James Robert Jordan, age 71, of Temple, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015. He was born January 12, 1944 in Carrollton the son of the late Mr. Ulysses William Jordan and the late Mrs. Sarah Louise Brannon Jordan. He worked for Trendeo-Vick for many years. Mr. Jordan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and building things. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Ronald Jordan; brothers, Jerry Jordan and Charles Jordan; sisters, Alice Garner, Wilma Henderson and Lucille Jordan. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Jordan of Temple; daughter and son-in-law, Sharmon and Russell Adair of Temple; sisters, Betty Smith of Villa Rica, Ruby Cook of Tampa, FL, Sarah Haywood of Hiawassee; brothers, Brannon Jordan of Mt. Airy, Larry Jordan of Douglasville, and Richard Jordan of Ball Ground; one grandchild, Jonathan Adair; two great grandchildren, Macie-Leigh Grace Poppell and Allie-Morgan Faith Adair; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Monday, August 17, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, 306 Westview Drive, Villa Rica, Georgia 30180. Memorial Services will be conducted Monday, August 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
