James Joseph Aumick

Mr. James Joseph Aumick, 64, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away October 24, 2005 at Grady Memorial Hospital. He was born September 20, 1941 in Franklin, New Jersey the son of the late Mr. Ivan Valetis Aumick and the late Mrs. Mary McCourt Aumick. He married Nelda Finch Aumick on March 14, 1962 in Brewton, Alabama. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked as a mechanic at Sunbelt Rentals. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, William Aumick and brother-in-law, Richard Sisco. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mrs. Nelda Aumick of Douglasville; three daughters and son-in-law, Mary Renee Moore of Douglasville, Mindy and Steve Bryan of Powder Springs, Deborah Faye and Earle Craig Jordan II of Douglasville; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Marion and Charles Beardslee of Zephyrhills, FL, Betty Sisco of Lynchburg, VA, Edna and Richard Krause of New Jersey, and Barbara Moore of Albuquerque, New Mexico; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Liz Aumick of Arkansas, Ivan Aumick, Jr. and Jean Aumick of Brunswick, Maine, Phillip and Donna Aumick of Pennsylvania, Richard and Anna Aumick of Indiana, and Charles and Caroline Aumick of Woodstock, GA; sister-in-law, Lori Aumick of Washington; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted Friday, October 28, 2005 at 7:00 PM from the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 PM until the funeral hour. Messages of condolences to the family may be sent to www.jones-wynn.com.
