James Joseph Padgett

Mr. James Joseph Padgett, 40, of Telfair County, Georgia, formerly of Bremen, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007, at Telfair County Hospital in McRae, Georgia. He was born June 9, 1966 in Carroll County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. Harold Padgett and Mrs. Scarlett Evans Padgett. Mr. Padgett worked as a cabinet maker and was a member of the Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors include his mother, Scarlett Evans Padgett; and three sisters, Rhonda Rutledge, Shirley Hollis, and Susan Logan, all of Bremen. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 6, 2007 from Victory Tabernacle Church in Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Roger Luke, Rev. Marshall Dye, and Rev. Steve Willingham officiating. Interment will follow in Asbury Cemetery in Temple, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends at home on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at noon.
