Mr. James Lamar Bradford, 61, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. He was born August 3, 1946 in Rome, Georgia the son of the late Mr. James Harvey Bradford and the late Mrs. Ellie Olivia Beam Bradford. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Mr. Bradford loved life and his family. He was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Lynn Bearden Bradford of Douglasville; three sons and daughter-in-law, Christopher Lamar Bradford and Kendra Bradford of Villa Rica, Jason Wayne Bradford and Chad Matthew Bradford both of Douglasville; sister and brother-in-law, Janice Bradford Blissitt and Ted Blissitt of Douglasville; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, February 29, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Tapp and Rev. Danny Moody officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The following will serve as pallbearers: Christopher Lamar Bradford, Jason Wayne Bradford, Chad Matthew Bradford, Keith Bearden, Robert Harper, and Ted Blissitt.
