James Lucius Layton

Mr. James Lucius Layton, age 74 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021. He was born July 16, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Lucius N. Layton and the late Mrs. Vera Inez Mathis. Mr. Layton loved fishing and watching T.V., especially John Wayne movies. Mr. Layton was of the Christian faith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, James Nelson. Mr. Layton is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-laws, Delores and Gene Evans of Douglasville, Georgia, Sandra and Bruce Bobst of Corryton, Tennessee, Jackie and Garry Marr of Douglasville, Georgia; several nieces and nephews also survive.
