James Meherg

Mr. James Douglas Meherg, 50, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at his residence. He was born November 6, 1965 in Douglasville, Georgia the son of the late Mrs. Betty Sue Ford Meherg and Mr. Davis Neal Meherg. He worked as a painter for Goodman Decorating. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Frances Shumaker Meherg of Carrollton; his children, Quinton James and Emily Meherg of Mt. Zion, Briana Elizabeth Meherg of Atlanta, Sarah Meherg of Carrollton, and Mason Alexander Meherg of Carrollton; his father, Davis Neal Meherg of Carrollton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah Hayes of Woodstock, Donna and James Clouse of Missouri, Lydia and Terry Norris of Sand Hill, and Patricia and Steven Fields of Temple; brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Frances Meherg of Bowdon, Gary Meherg of Carrollton, and Harold and Debbie Meherg of Temple; two grandchildren, Rhett Meherg and Ryder Meherg; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, April 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Wofford officiating and Briana Elizabeth Meherg providing the eulogy.
