James Melvin Dunn

Mr. James Melvin Dunn, age 78 of Temple, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He was born August 25, 1942 in Greenville, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. John Jordan and the late Mrs. Ruby Jordan. Mr. Dunn worked as a truck driver. He loved spending time fishing and tinkering with cars. Mr. Dunn always loved helping people. He was of the Christian faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dunn was preceded in death by his grandchild, Katy Murray and two brothers. He is survived by his wife of over 57 years, Mrs. Dorothy Ann Dockery Dunn of Temple; his daughter, Becky Dunn of Temple; his sons and daughters-in-law, Virgil and Mendy Dunn of Bowdon and Ronald and Tracey Dunn of Temple; five sisters; one brother; two grandchildren, Trey and Kayla; two great grandchildren, Reighan and Waylon and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica, Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral Services will be conducted, Monday, January 4, 2021 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Villa Rica with John George officiating. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park on GA-61 in Villa Rica, Georgia. As a safety measure and a courtesy to the family, please wear a mask if you plan to attend.
