Mr. James Raymond Williams, 61, of Leslie Lane, Temple, Georgia; passed away Thursday, June 7, 2007 at his residence. He was born February 15, 1946 in Jesup, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Jim Warren Williams and the late Anna Cribbs Williams. Mr. Williams was a professional truck driver, having retired from ABF Freight Company with 23 years service where he received numerous awards for his dedication and safety. In addition to his parents he was preceded by in death by a brother, J. W. Williams. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Nell Wheelis Williams to whom he married on July 31, 1970 in Folkston, Georgia. Daughters and son-in laws; Pam and Chad Singleton of Temple; Sharon and Len Cox of Bremen; and Patricia and Joe Tittle of Temple; Sisters; Trudy Brown of Odom, Georgia; Joyce Johnson of Jesup, Georgia; Elizabeth Davis of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; Glorian Williams of Pauleyâs Island, South Carolina; Diane Evors of Jesup, Georgia; Cheryl Garvin of Adam Run, South Carolina; Lee Tancredi of Charleston, South Carolina; and Johnnie Bennett of Huger, South Carolina; Brothers; Trevis Williams of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Charles Williams of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, in Villa Rica, Georgia. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, on Friday, June 8, 2007 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and Saturday, June 9, 2007 2:00PM until 9:00 PM.
