James Roger Shepherd

Mr. James Roger Shepherd, age 69 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, May 9, 2022. He was born November 06, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia. The son of the late Mr. Claude N. Shepherd and the late Mrs. Mildred G. Hulsey. Mr. Shepherd enjoyed hunting, shot gun sports, motorcycle trips and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Shepherd is preceded in death by his sister, Gail Harp; grandson-in-law, Zachary Wolfe. He is survived by his wife Carmen Shepherd; his son and daughter-in-law James and Christi Shepherd; sister, Claudette Atcheson; his three grandchildren Michelle Patterson, Sydney Shepherd and Gillian Shepherd. Mr. Shepherd's wish was to be cremated and the family will have a service at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pancan.org in honor of Mr. Shepherd. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home & Crematory from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
