Mr. James âJimâ Harold Watts, age 79, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, March 26, 2012 at his residence. He was born January 1, 1933 in Lineville, Alabama the son of the late Mr. Robert âLonnieâ Lonzo Watts and the late Mrs. Beatrice Martin Watts. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a Commercial Electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union 613. He was a member of the Flint Hill Lodge #371 F&AM. He was a member of Prayâs Mill Baptist Church. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, music and playing the guitar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Myrtice Inez Adams Watts; sisters, Clara Belle Watts and Bessie Watts and brothers, Robert Watts, Roy Watts, Pete Watts, Clyde Watts and Bill Watts; and his granddaughters, Ashley Rebecca Samples and Kasey Rey Samples McGinnis. He is survived by his second wife, Lois Tolbert Watts of Douglasville; three daughters and son-in-law, Beverly and Larry Watson, Rebecca âBeckyâ Watts Samples, and Michelle Watts all of Douglasville; three sons and daughter-in-law, Ricky Watts of Carrollton, Lynn Watts of Ball Ground, and Gary and Marie Watts of Grand Forks, North Dakota; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Dan Bessette of Douglasville; stepson, David Willis of Douglasville; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Jean Watts of Tacoma, Washington; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Buice and Pastor Wayne Bray officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville with the following serving as pallbearers: Jim Watson, Adam Watts, Dillon Bishop, Tyler Watts, Jake Watts, John Jackson, Chad Samples, and Brandon Willis.
