Mr. James Leonard Wheeler, age 86, of Villa Rica, passed away, Friday, January 8, 2016. He was born October 29, 1929 in Haralson County, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Monroe Wheeler and the late Mrs. Louise Vancaren Wheeler. He worked for J A Weese Concrete Company for many years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Magdalene Shumake Wheeler; four brothers, Robert Wheeler, Melvin Wheeler, Bob Wheeler, Earl Wheeler; sister, Madene Temple.He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Shane Haygood of Dawsonville, Brenda and Shawn Jannotte of Villa Rica, and Susie Norton of Tallapoosa; three sons and a daughter-in-law, David Wheeler, Randy Wheeler, and Leonard and Angie Wheeler all of Villa Rica; sisters and brother-in-law, Emma Smith of Dallas, Betty and Wendell Thornton of Villa Rica fourteen grandchildren and their spouses, Tammy and Joseph Wright of Tallapoosa, Chris and Amy Green of Dallas, Chad and Jamie Hogan of Dawsonville, Briana Haygood of Dawsonville, Dustin Jannotte of Villa Rica, Amanda Jannotte of Villa Rica, Jeremy Jannotte of Villa Rica, Steven Wheeler of Alabama, Lee Wheeler of Alabama, Alex Wheeler of Alabama, Dustin Brewer of Villa Rica, Nancy Durham of Bremen, Jessica Wheeler of Villa Rica, and Ariel Wheeler of Villa Rica; thirteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Wendell Thornton officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Draketown. The following will serve as pallbearers: Chris Green, Chad Hogan, Doug Hayes, Shawn Jannotte, Danny Thornton, and Dustin Brewer.
