James Wilburn Skinner, Sr.

Mr. James Wilburn Skinner, Sr., 65, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Tanner Medical Center. He was born August 27, 1942 in Ranburne, Alabama the son of the late Mr. Luther Paul Skinner and the late Mrs. Eula Webb Derring. He was of the Holiness Faith and was a concrete finisher. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sons, James Wilburn Skinner, Jr. and Thomas Monroe Skinner Brown; brother, Clifford Skinner and sister, Peggy Evans. He is survived by his wife, Linda Britt Skinner of Carrollton; daughters and son-in-law, Sheila and John Weldon of Carrollton, Belinda Tolbert of Carrollton, Sabrina Yvonne Bostwick of Panama City, Sherry Bentley, Mae Summerville, Rebecca Fuller White, Angela Fuller, and Sherry Fuller all of Carrollton; sons and daughter-in-law, Samuel James and Kimberly Skinner of Haines City, FL, Luther Paul Skinner, Ronald Tolbert, Lee Tolbert, and James Tolbert all of Carrollton; sisters, Corine Ivey, Mae Parker, and Charlene Parker all of Temple; brother, Mike Skinner of Carrollton; 33 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Monday, July 7, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Troy Blackwelder and Rev. Jimmy Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens. The family is receiving friends, Monday, July 7, 2008 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour.
