James William Tuggle

Mr. James William Tuggle, 92, of Winston passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born December 12, 1914 in Carroll County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. William Harvey Tuggle and the late Mrs. Susie Martin Tuggle. He married Cyril Irene Carter on July 5, 1938. Mr. Tuggle was a member of Living Word Ministries in Sharpsburg and was self employed operating Tuggle Flooring Company. Mr. Tuggle was devoted to his family and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Mable Wright and brother, Ralph Henry Tuggle. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mrs. Cyril Irene Carter Tuggle of Winston; two daughters, Marilyn Hampton of Cumming, GA and Claudette Hilbun of Lewisville, TX; one son, Norman Tuggle of Winston; two sisters, Dana Holland of Winston and Myrl Cato of Austell; one brother, Jerry Tuggle of Roopville; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Brother Tom Rowe officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Tuesday, July 31, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
