Jane W Robinson

Mrs. Jane Wynn Robinson, 90, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. She was born on August 13 1933 in Austell, Ga. She is the daughter of the late Tom Ray Wynn and the late Metta Roberts Wynn. The family moved to the New Georgia community of Paulding County Ga in 1938. She lived with her grandparents in Dallas, Ga while her mother taught school at New Georgia Elementary School. Mrs. Robinson’s father, Tom Wynn raised cows and  he was a dairy farmer at New Georgia. Jane graduated from Dallas High School in 1950 and she attended West Georgia College. She then went to work for the Paulding County Family and Children Services where she retired in 1986. She married Fred Silvester Robinson from Dallas in 1951 and lived in Dallas until they built a house on Lindsey Lake Road in Dallas . Fred retired and passed away in February 2005 . She is survived by her sister,  Martha Swann; nephew, William Jones of Stockbridge Ga, and a niece Cindy Jane Woody of Woodstock, several other nieces and nephews also survive. She was a life long member of New Georgia Baptist Church in New Georgia. She had a love for cats.

 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM from the Villa Rica Chapel at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Interment will follow at Melrose Cemetery.
