Janice Lee Honea

Janice Lee Honea, 80, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. She was born on January 20, 1942. She is the daughter of the late Bennon Leon Dabbs and the late Mildred Irene Crews.

Mrs. Honea was a very talented seamstress. She was very kind and giving. Mrs. Honea was a devoted wife to her late husband, David Lee Honea. She was a loving mother, and she loved her grandchildren. Mrs. Honea had an amazing sense of humor. She enjoyed spending her time watching old movies. She was a devoted friend to many.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Honea is preceded in death by her brothers Fred Dabbs and Don Dabbs.

She is survived by her daughters, Brittney Daugherty and fiancé, Wiley Smith of Douglasville, Tammy Lee Kelly of Douglasville; sisters, Gail Beck of Cumming, Patricia Wheeler of Powder Springs, Stella Cronan of Tennessee; grandchildren, Alazay McCall, Daija Wimms, and Cynthia Smith; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Honea was cremated.
