Jason Lee Kidd“Don’t Sass, Rookie” Mr. Jason Lee Kidd, 42, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018. He was born June 21, 1975 in Austell, Georgia. He married Jacquline “Jacki” Bennett on June 25, 2001 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and worked as Warehouse Manager at Deluxe Corporation. He was Christian by faith. Jason was an avid fan of the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Tech. He was funloving in spirit and a character. His favorite saying was “Don’t Sass, Rookie” and was loved by both his beloved family and many dear friends. He is survived by his wife, Jacki Bennett Kidd of Douglasville; his beloved children, Jeremy Bennett, Lyric Miller, Jared Bennett, and Jacob Kidd; father, Tim McDonald; mother, Marsha Bower; brother, Justin Kidd; sisters, Kerry Godsey, Sara Italiano, and April Cosgrove; dearly loved aunt, Sheila Lewis; numerous adoring nieces and nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Monday, January 15, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Butch Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton. The following will serve as pallbearers: Justin Kidd, Matt Bennett, Jeremy Bennett, Jared Bennett, Jacob Kidd, Justin Tollison and Jake Gregory.
