Jasper Lee Mayfield

Mr. Jasper Lee Mayfield, age 78, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, January 26, 2009. He was born October 19, 1930 in Forsyth County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Easter Lee Mayfield and the late Mrs. Johnnie Jane Mayfield. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a painter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Annie Imogene Mayfield and his brother, Lee Junior Mayfield. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Roger Padgett of Douglasville; son, Kenneth Mayfield of Villa Rica; sister, Ida Husbands of Sandy Springs; brothers, James Cecil Mayfield of Douglasville and John Edward Mayfield of Winston; grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. No service is planned at this time. Mr. Mayfield was cremated. Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel in charge of arrangements. 770-942-2311
