Mrs. Jeanette Gohndrone Stemme, 74, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Hospice Atlanta following an extended illness. She was born September 11, 1939 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Gohndrone and the late Mrs. Victoria Paryl Gohndrone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Stemme. Mrs. Stemme worked as an administrative assistant at Pollak Cadillac. She was a member of the VFW and the Red Hat Society and Tea Timers clubs. She was an avid stamp collector. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Rich Hammond of Douglasville, GA; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Sharon Stemme of Centreville, VA; brother and sister-in-law, John and Dolores Gohndrone of Washington; two grandchildren, Conor Stemme and Siobhan Stemme; several nieces and nephews. The family will have a Celebration of Life Gathering in honor of Mrs. Stemmeâs life, Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the family home.
