Jeffery Scott Klein

Jeffery Scott Klein, 59, of Temple, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.  Jeff was born on September 30, 1963 in Sandusky, Ohio.  He is the son of Joyce Kay Klein.  He was a graduate of Huron High School/EHOVE with an AGG Industrial Mechanic. Jeff worked for Huron Cement Plant and later as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Wagner Quarry in Sandusky, Ohio and for Sylvania Minerals in South Rockwood, Michigan. His most recent employer was Martin Marietta in Douglasville, Georgia.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman, who loved camping, four-wheeling, hunting and fishing. His love for animals was infectious.  If he couldn’t bring his dog with him, he wasn’t coming.  Jeff also loved to cook and always enjoyed a good rib-eye steak.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Kay Klein and his maternal grandparents, Otis and Dorothy Bronner.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife Trisha Wickert-Klein; sister and brother-in-law, Buffy and Gene Proper: uncle Buz and aunt Lynn Bronner; many cousins and very dear friends also survive.

The family is planning a celebration of life later this summer in Huron, Ohio.
