Jeffrey Lee Bowman

Jeffrey “Jeff” Bowman, 67, beloved husband, father and grandfather, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024. He was born in Marion, Ohio on July 13, 1957, the son of the late William Bowman and the late Starling Graybill Bowman. 

He was proudly recognized as a great dad and a devoted husband, always prioritizing his family and their happiness. He enjoyed activities in his spare time such as woodworking, fishing, camping, landscaping, spending time outdoors, and rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was known for his outgoing nature and his sense of humor; Jeffrey was a caring individual who embraced life fully. 

He was a dedicated employee, working at Quaker Oats in Marion, Ohio for 13 years, he then worked for Kellogg Co. for a combined 24 years in Worthington, Ohio, Zanesville, Ohio, Clearfield, Utah and Atlanta, Georgia as the plant director in each location.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kaitlin Bowman. 

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathleen; sons and daughter-in-law, Matthew (Adina) Bowman of Acworth, GA, Aiden of Douglasville; grandchildren Maddox and Tessa Milam; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard (Cindy) Bowman, William (Carolyn) Bowman; sister and brother-in-law, Vickie (Doug) Swihart all of Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglas Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Douglas Chapel with Reverend Teresa Henckel officiating. 

His legacy of love and laughter will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
