Jeffrey James Mezick

Mr. Jeffrey James Mezick, age 53 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, July 16, 2021. He was born February 8, 1968 in Lithia Springs, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. James William Mezick and the late Mrs. Linda Ann Defnall Mezick. Mr. Mezick worked for Team Toyota and PDQ for several years as a mechanic before going in business working for himself. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He was always there for anyone. Mr. Mezick loved to grill and feed others. Boating, fishing, and traveling were things he always enjoyed doing. Mr. Mezick was always happy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Mezick. Mr. Mezick is survived by his son, Justin Mezick of Douglasville, Georgia; sister, Cathy Thomas of Douglasville, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Friday, July 23, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM also Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Rev. Larry Weaver officiating.
