Jennie Tidwell

Mrs. Jennie B. McElroy Tidwell, age 90, of Villa Rica, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018. She was born August 4, 1927 in Carrollton the daughter of the late Mr. Horace Greeley McElroy and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Mary Tarpley McElroy. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Burnett Tidwell; sons, Horace Wayne Tidwell, Timmy Edward Tidwell; brother, Clifton Lee McElroy; sister, Olli Louise McElroy. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Joan Tidwell of Villa Rica, Billy and Diane Tidwell of Villa Rica, Jimmy and Susan Tidwell of Temple; James and Irene Tidwell of Villa Rica, Ray Tidwell of Villa Rica, Joe and Debbie Tidwell of Newnan, Steve and Peggy Tidwell of Temple, David and Darlene Tidwell of Villa Rica; sister, Ruth Ann Williams of Nolensville, TN; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew also survives. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with family friend, Terry Langley officiating.
