Jeremy Patrick Hinds

Jeremy Patrick Hinds, age 45, of Douglasville, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Born on September 7, 1977 in Lithia Springs, son of Mr. Richard Hinds and Mrs. Susan Smallwood. Jeremy lived a life full of adventure and embraced every moment. Jeremy's free-spiritedness defined his character. 

In addition to his parents he is survived by his step father, Randy Smallwood; sister, Traci (Chad) Garner of Cedar Bluff, AL; nieces and nephews, Zachary (Savannah) Garner, Salem, Axel, Joshua and Caylee.

One of Jeremy's greatest passions was exploring the great outdoors. He enjoyed activities such as camping and fishing. Whether it was pitching a tent by a lake or casting a line into a river, Jeremy found peace and tranquility in those moments. His love for nature was contagious, inspiring many to appreciate the wonders of the world around them. Jeremy cherished his friendships above all else. He was loyal and would go to great lengths to support and uplift his loved ones. His personality attracted people from all walks of life.

Jeremy Patrick Hinds will be remembered as an extraordinary soul who approached life with open arms and an open heart. His legacy lies not only in the memories he created but also in the everlasting impact he had on those fortunate enough to have known him. Jeremy's departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his beloved family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Amvets Post 118 in Lithia Springs.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. The memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Randy Smallwood officiating.
