Jerral “Jerry” Ernest Gore, 78, of Bremen, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025. He was born on October 25, 1946, the son of the late Glen Francis Gore and the late Shirley Mae Sanders Gore.
Jerry was a pillar of his community and a dedicated family man whose influence will be felt for years to come. From the early 1970s, Jerry distinguished himself as a successful entrepreneur, owning and operating several businesses that contributed to the local economy and provided jobs for numerous families. His commitment to the community extended beyond the realm of business; he was deeply invested in the lives of those around him. Jerry was known for his generosity, giving nature, and selflessness, always ensuring that his employees and their families were well cared for.
As devoted grandfather, Jerry spent countless hours supporting his grandchildren at their various functions. His presence was a source of pride and encouragement for them, and he cherished every moment spent watching them grow and succeed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Mike Gore and Richard Nicholson.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty -eight years, Deborah Gore; children, Julie (Rick) Canfield of Canton and Daniel (Katie) Gore of Bremen; sister and brother-in-law, Karen (Troy) Head of Lawrenceville; five grandchildren, Caitlin Canfield, Carter Canfield, Jerry Gore, Jonah Gore and Jackson Gore; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Bremen. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM. A reception will follow the memorial service in the fellowship hall.
