Jerry Summerville

Mr. Jerry Thomas Summerville, age 63, of Temple, passed away November 14, 2014. He was born July 7, 1951 in Villa Rica, Georgia the son of the late Mr. William Rowe Summerville and the late Mrs. Sarah Jane Wilburn Summerville. Mr. Summerville was a self-employed mechanic. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie George Summerville; son, Matthew Summerville.He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Jimmy Martin of Temple, Wendy Summerville and Ricky Pearson of Griffin; son and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Joni Summerville of Temple, Deanette Summerville of Temple; sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda and Jr. Huddleston of Temple, Pat and Mike Eddleman of Villa Rica; brothers, Edward Summerville of Bremen and David Summerville of Temple; thirteen grandchildren; Joshua Leatherwood of Temple; Jonathan Evans of Temple, Thomas “T. J.” Summerville of Douglasville, Jennifer Johnson of Buchannan, Sandy Hayes of Villa Rica, Megan Summerville of Temple, Anjanette Hewiit of Florida, Ryan Balderston of Temple, Cody Matthews of Mauk, Hannah Matthews of Mauk, Chasidy Summerville of Griffin, Madison Summerville of Griffin, Ethan Ray of Griffin; five great grandchildren, Zachary Leathewood of Temple, Jacklynn Leatherwood of Temple, Avery Evans of Villa Rica, McKenzie Hewitt of Florida and Aubree Mae Summerville of Griffin. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, November 21, 2014 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Friday, November 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Homer Wilburn officiating.
