Jimmy Cramer Cammon, age 66, of Juliette, GA, passed away on June 9, 2025. He was born in LaGrange, GA on October 22, 1958, the son of the late Howard and Helen Cammon.

Jimmy grew up in Centralhatchee, GA on the family farm and he worked the hay fields many long hours and summers. He was a proud graduate of Heard County High School, class of 1976 and he was an Eagle Scout. He was a wonderful and friendly, God loving man, who was strong in his faith. He shook hands and hugged with everyone he met. Rarely, went anywhere without meeting someone he knew. Friends were friends for life. Jimmy was a people person with a warm personality, he made friends with everyone. He engaged everyone in conversation, inspiring people with his positive attitude and energetic enthusiasm. He always wanted to leave a good lasting impression.

Jimmy was a mechanic by trade and a very good one. He described himself as a “wrench turner”. During high school he was employed by Franklin Aluminum. He worked at night going to school by day. His last and favorite job was with ALA-GA Roll Off Container, Roopville, GA driving a truck. He immediately fit right in and everyone became family.

As Chairperson of the Trustees, Jimmy was very instrumental and had a large part in building Villa Rica First United Methodist Church at its’ present location on Hwy 61. He was involved with River of Life for 5 years getting the houses and supplies together.

Mud Racing was a hobby and passion with his trucks Skeeter and DoubleVision with which he excelled and was a crowd favorite. On the loudspeaker could be heard Papa Smurf shouting “mash that gas”! He loved and enjoyed riding Motorcycles. Motorcycles, trucks and big block engines. Raw power! Jimmy enjoyed other activities and hobbies including fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling to the mountains and National Parks.
