Jimmy Dale Hulsey

Mr. Jimmy Dale Hulsey, age 74 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020. He was born July 1, 1946 in Haleyville, Alabama, the son of the late Mr. Harvey Martin Hulsey and the late Mrs. Samantha Novella Canida Hulsey. Mr. Hulsey owned a commercial and residential real estate company. In his younger years, he raced dirt track cars and later collected antique cars. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. Mr. Hulsey was of the Southern Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Hulsey. He is survived by his wife of over 57 years, Evelyn Bollen Hulsey of Douglasville; his daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and Troy Aikens of Douglasville and Brittany and Chad Cox of Villa Rica; his son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Renae Hulsey of Whitesburg; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Kermit Benefield of Douglasville, Shelby Griffis of Douglasville, Becky Long and her husband, Charles of Douglasville and Gail Hulsey of Powder Springs; his brothers and sister-in-law, H.M. Hulsey of Temple and Tony and Melinda Hulsey of Temple; five grandchildren, Jeff Hulsey, Josh Hulsey, Justin Aikens, Kaden Smith and Maci Aikens; two great-grandchildren, Juniper Hulsey and Dakota Hulsey; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Private services will be conducted with Minister Mike Mallory officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockmart, Georgia.
