Jimmy Edward Cain

Mr. Jimmy Edward Cain, 65, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, July 20, 2007 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. He was born May 3, 1942 in Ellijay, Georgia the son of the late Mr. James Lester Cain and the late Mrs. Mary Doris Vick Jenkins. He married Alma Marie Cochran on July 29, 1961 in Blue Ridge, Georgia. He worked as a sub-contractor specializing in sheetrock and painting. He is survived by his wife, Alma Marie Cochran Cain of Douglasville; two daughters and son-in-law, Tina Cain of Powder Springs and Judy and Wes Childers of Douglasville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Cherie Cain of Temple and Anthony and Renee Cain of Chatsworth; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby Jack Cain, Sr. and Faye Cain of Concord, NC, Jerry and Vanessa Cain of Carroll County, GA, and Gerald and Carol Cain of Temple; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, July 22, 2007 at 2:30 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. James Green and Rev. Glen Rountree officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Saturday, July 21, 2007 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
