Jimmy Wilson

Jimmy Wilson, 86, of Winston, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022. He was born on September 28, 1936. He is the son of the late Lemuel Wilson and the late Nealon Rainey.

Mr. Wilson enjoyed fishing, especially deep sea fishing. He was a good cook, and chocolate pie was his specialty. Mr. Wilson loved grilling and using his smoker. He was loved by his family. Mr. Wilson was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Wood Wilson; daughter, Barbara Jane Williams; brothers, Ed Will Wilson and Ted Wilson; granddaughter, Candy Alexander.

He is survived by his daughters, Susan Wilson of Lorain, Ohio, Jade Woods of Carrollton, Georgia, Christy (Tim) Lewallen of Douglasville, Georgia; sons, Jimmy Nathan Wilson of Winston, Georgia; sister, Ima L. Waldrop of Winston, Georgia; brother, Larry (Betty) Wilson of Winston, Georgia; sisters in law, Elaine Wilson, Sandy Wilson; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Wilson was cremated. The family will hold a Graveside Service on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Ephesus Baptist Church.
