Jo Anne Gray

Jo Anne McGukin Gray, 92, of Carrollton, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, August 15, 2026. She was born on November 3, 1933, the daughter of the late John McGukin and the late Dortha Lee Brown McGukin.

Throughout her long and memorable life, Jo Anne was known for her vibrant spirit and funny sense of humor. She was affectionately called MeMe by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who loved her dearly.

Friends and loved ones will remember Jo Anne for her feisty, funny, and fiercely independent nature. Jo Anne found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed spending time working on puzzles, gardening and she had a passion for collecting antiques.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gray.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Chris Bradley of Carrollton; grandchildren, Payton and Richard Brice, Garrett and Mallory Lovvorn, Reid and Jada Lovvorn; great-grandchildren, Aniston Brice, Lennon Brice, Flynn Lovvorn, and Millie Lovvorn

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated. There are no further arrangements at this time.
