Jo Ann Michael

Jo Ann Michael (JoJo), age 96, of Douglasville, GA went to her eternal home on January 27, 2026. JoJo lived a full life. Growing up in South Georgia of humble means, Jojo knew hard work and how to survive. She was as tough as they come. She worked hard to provide the very best life had to offer for her kids. Her family was her world, and she loved and served them throughout her life.

She was a good cook and made the best fudge and peanut brittle around. Jojo was also known to be an amazing seamstress. She was always able to say something to make you laugh and loved you so good.

Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin Marshall and Eunice Collins Marshall, her two brothers, Douglas Marshall and Benny Marshall and sister, Tommie Ella Marshall. She is survived by her son Jerry Dowling, daughter, Sheila Mullins Kelleher and grandson Jordan Kelleher and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Funeral service will be held at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglasville, GA on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 11:30 A.M. with visitation starting at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be at Sunrise Gardens of Memories following the service.
