Jo Rita Huber

Mrs. Jo Rita Huber, age 87, of Lithia Springs, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. She was born September 25, 1936 to the late Mr. Carl Eder and the late Mrs. Ouina Benton. She lived a life filled with love and compassion. Jo Rita's sweet disposition and warm heart touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Throughout her years, Jo Rita developed a variety of interests and hobbies that brought her immense joy. She found solace in sewing and quilting, creating beautiful pieces that showcased her creativity Another one of Jo Rita's passions was collecting cookbooks. She loved for shopping for bargains and in later years, watching the jewelry channel. But perhaps one of Jo Rita's greatest joys in life was found in her interactions with others. She had an extraordinary ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Children held a special place in Jo Rita's heart. Jo Rita never met a stranger; instead, she saw an opportunity to make a new friend. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jack Huber.

She is survived by her daughter, Cara Mulkey; sons, Michael (Gail) Huber and Christopher Huber.

According to Mrs. Huber’s wishes she was cremated, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
