Joan Lois Burns

Mrs. Joan Lois Burns, 75, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007. She was born March 8, 1932 in Poughkeepsie, New York; the daughter of the late John Diehl and the late Malvina Randolph Diehl. Mrs. Burns was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Villa Rica and enjoyed spending time playing the organ, painting, and making jewelry. Survivors include her husband of fifty-six years, William Burns; daughters and son in-law, Carol Vetra of Villa Rica, Georgia; and Sharon and Bruce Grosse of Canton, Ohio; sons and daughter in-laws, William Jr. and Ann Burns of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and John and Lali Burns of Towns River, New Jersey; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 7:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Todd Allen officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, August 1, 2007 from 5:00PM until the service hour. Interment will take place in Linlithgo, New York.
