Mrs. Joan Hebert Weber, age 79, of Winston, passed away, Friday, June 5, 2015, at her residence surrounded by family. She was born June 21, 1935 in New Orleans, LA the daughter of the late Mr. Paul Joseph Hebert and the late Mrs. Evelyn Mills Hebert. She was a professional hairdresser and her career spanned over 51 years on or near St. Charles Ave. in New Orleans, LA. In her latter career, she was a co-owner of Posh Hair Design on St. Charles Ave. When she moved here to Winston, she began volunteering at Wellstar Douglas Hospital where she received the nickname âMiss Hollywood.â Mrs. Weber loved life. She had the most selfless, caring spirit. She never met a stranger.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Phil Weber, Jr.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Herbert (Bert) Hinchman of Winston; son, Keith E. Weber of Louisiana; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Susanne (Sue) Hebert of Minnesota; four grandchildren, Kristi Herrin, Keith E. Weber, Jr., Sara and Joseph (Joe) Hinchman; two great grandchildren, Kaitlyn McCurdy and Harper Herrin; brother-in-law and sisterâin-law, Gene and Sylvia Novak of Gretna, LA; several nieces, nephews, other extended family, and dear friends. Private Memorial Services will be conducted at a later date.
