Mrs. JoAnn Fuller Shelton, age 82 of Temple, Georgia, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021. She was born April 15, 1939 in Douglas County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Hershel Dorsey Fuller and the late Mrs. Maebell Chandler Fuller. She worked with Royal Creations as an order puller. Mrs. Shelton loved reading, computer games, crossword puzzles, gardening and browsing yard sales, but mostly she loved her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dewitt Shelton; her son, Mark Christopher Shelton; her daughter, Teresa Charlene Norton; her brother, Darell Gene Fuller and her sister, Clara Joyce Geraldine McBride.
She is survived by her children, Brad D. Shelton of Temple and Debbie Darlene Shelton of Temple; her sisters and brother-in-law, Judy and Dale Mitchell of Lithia Springs and Elsie Teal of Douglasville; grandchildren, Misty Colbert and Tayler Ann Sims; great-grandchildren, Morgan Haley, Toni Hope and Kade Hunter; great-great grandchildren, Charlie Mason an Kash Mason; and a number of nephews and nieces also survive.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Monday, February 22, 2021 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Dr. Corky Addison officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in the Fairplay community.
