Joann Grantham

Mrs. Joann Patterson Grantham, 67, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, January 11, 2016. She was born April 28, 1948 in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of the late Mr. Johnny Patterson and the late Mrs. Mary Farley Patterson. She worked as a nursing assistant at Garden Terrace Nursing Home and was a homemaker. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Douglasville. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and loved music. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Joseph Grantham. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Matt Daniel of Douglasville; sons and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Dianne Grantham of Carrollton and Robert Grantham and his girlfriend, Amanda Robinson of Carrollton; one grandchild, Paige Daniel; niece, Patricia Page; nephews, Ronald McCombs and Barry Page. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory in Douglasville, Friday, January 15, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory of Douglasville with Rev. Terry Marbut officiating.
