Mrs. JoAnn Craze Landers, age 76, of Douglasville passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. She was born on January 6, 1947 to the late Mr. W.C. Craze and the late Mrs. Allie Seay Craze.
JoAnn was a woman whose vibrant and loving spirit touched the lives of many. She had a way to make everyone around her feel welcomed and loved. Always on the phone with her family and friends, she nurtured deep connections with those she held dear. As a motherly figure for all of her siblings, JoAnn was the pillar of strength and wisdom for her family. JoAnn's passion for cooking brought people together around the table, creating memories that will endure through generations. Her cooking skills were legendary, but it was her banana pudding that became treasured. Alongside her role as a provider and caregiver, JoAnn had many lifelong friends whom she held close to her heart.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Hill.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 59 years, Mr. "Roy" Edward Landers; daughters, Debbie (Nick) Pruett of Winston, Paula D. Paul of Bremen; sisters, Sue (Paul) Nipper, Kathy (Wayne) Purvis, Melba (Ronnie) Roberson; brothers, Jerry Craze, Johnny (Sarah) Craze; grandchildren, Tyler Paul, Eli Paul, Coy Pruett and Josiah Pruett; many nieces and nephews, whom she loved greatly.
According to Mrs. Landers' wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
