JoAnn Ramsey

Mrs. JoAnn Norris Ramsey, age 76, of Temple, passed away, Wednesday, November 25, 2015. She was born January 21, 1939 in Carroll County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Avery Norris and the late Mrs. Parlie Williams Norris. She was a truck driver for Refrigerated Transport for many years. Mrs. Ramsey was a LPN at Grady Hospital for several years. She was a member of Harmony Baptist church in Bowdon Junction. She loved her grandchildren and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lester Ramsey; son, Kenneth E. Strickland; grandson, Justin Patrick Ramsey; daughter-in-law, Kathy Ramsey; eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Strickland of Douglasville; sons, David Ramsey, Stanley Strickland; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
