Jodie Haynes

Mrs. Jodie Haynes, 78, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, June 9, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Haynes was born April 5, 1930 in Newnan, Georgia; the daughter of the late Joe Boswell and the late Hattie Gray Boswell. Mrs. Haynes was a homemaker and a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Albert Haynes; brothers, Ben Boswell, and Ellic Boswell; and sisters, Ruby Hall, and Ellen Moore. Survivors include daughter, Barbara Haynes of Douglasville; sons and daughters in-law, George and Carol Haynes of Douglasville, Jackie and Cindy Haynes of Myrtle Beach, Billy Haynes of Douglasville, and Tim and Debbie Haynes of Douglasville; sisters, Nell Justiss of Newnan, and Nancy Boswell of North Carolina; brothers and sisters in-law, Leroy and Gloria Boswell of Douglasville, Harry Boswell of Georgia, and Bobby and Marlene Boswell of Calhoun; eleven grandchildren, forty great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Brother Donnie Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Friday, June 13, 2008 from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
