Mr. Joey Burton Crawford, Jr., 56, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016. He was born April 14, 1960 in Gadsden, Alabama the son of the late Mr. Joseph Burton Crawford Sr. and the late Mrs. Catherine Louis Ballard Crawford. He worked as a Lot Supervisor at Manheim Auto Auction in Atlanta. He loved to coach little league football teams and he was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs. He was devoted to his grandchildren. He was a Mason. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kayla and Teri Durden of Marietta; two sons and daughters-in-law, Justin Crawford and his fiancé, Haley Shubert of Cumming and Bryan and Julie Crawford of Washington, DC; sister, Cheryl Crawford of Lithia Springs; five grandchildren, Ashlynn, Kalliann, Carter, Tristan; and one joyfully anticipated in December; niece, Danielle; nephew, Daniel. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, May 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
