John Beddington, Sr

Mr. John Edward Beddington, Sr., age 48, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital following an extended illness. He was born January 16, 1965 in Douglasville, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Richard Willie Beddington and the late Mrs. Martha Jean Stells Beddington. He worked as an ice delivery driver for Southeastern Ice Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Richard Beddington and brother, Jerry Beddington. He is survived by wife, Yvonne Beddington of Douglasville; two sons, John Edward Beddington, Jr. and James Beddington both of Fairmount; sisters, Geraldene Traylor of Douglasville; and Martha Darlene Brooks of Decatur; brothers, Ricky Beddington of Dalton and Joe Beddington of Douglasville; several nieces and nephews. According to the family’s wishes his body was cremated. A Memorial Service will be planned at a later date by the family. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
