John "Billy" Moore

Mr. John Billy Moore, age 82, of Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his home. He was born December 12, 1931 in Carroll County, GA the son of the late Mr. Ralph M. Moore and the late Mrs. Ruth Caldwell Moore. He worked as a Shift Foreman at Southwire for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Moore Williamson.He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn “Jackie” Harper Moore of Carrollton; daughters and son-in-law, Veronica “Vickie” and Jimmy Sprayberry of Powder Springs, Debbie and Steve Marlin of Douglasville; sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Martha Moore of Carrollton, John and Karen Moore of Carrollton, Greg and Marsha Moore of Bowdon; sister, Sarah Moore Driver of Carrollton; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. According to Mr. Moore’s wishes he was cremated. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Carrollton.
