John Wayne Chandler Mr. John Wayne Chandler, age 60, of Winston passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at his residence. He was born March 25, 1951 in Atlanta the son of the late Mr. John A. Chandler and the late Mrs. Mattie Cain Chandler. John was a born again Christian who treasured his family and was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Kathy. He was an adoring father of two children, grandfather of three grandchildren and loved his dog Lucy. John was an avid Georgia Bulldogs football fan and never missed the chance to watch them play. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Kathy Mae Appling Chandler of Winston; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Arlene Chandler of Madison; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Shannon Richardson of Douglasville; grandchildren, Brandon and Bridget Chandler and Ryan Richardson; mother-in-law, sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law, several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the Abbey Chapel at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta with Rev. Niranjan Noronha officiating. Mr. Chandler will lie instate at the Abbey from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Interment will follow at Westview Memorial Gardens in Atlanta.
